can you tell me the thickness. I will get some and make up badge backings from the material I have.

er... 2mm?

I just got it from a picture framing shop... they almost always have cut-offs available if you ask... they have to cut the middle out of each piece to put the pictures in :)

I have the stuff lying round cos its useful when modelling...

i used a cut up store card, but it was too thick so i just glued the cloth to the cap badge.

most kind rich, but the problem is, there isnt enough room between the badge and the pin to fit it, its too tight, even a bit of plastic card was enough to almost break the pin off.

i got lovely old, dark staffs cap badge last week. so i have a spare now for airborne games.

I was going to get one done bobbing down to our local haberdashers, when I rushed my order of a badge so I could go to the training day. But when I wasn't going the red beret was on the back burner as I started commandoing up. yours would doubtless look better, and there's no rush (is there? I havn't noticed a S.Staffs game this year).
